Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return it, we are happy to offer a full refund or exchange. Exchanges are subject to availability.

You have the right to request a refund within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached cancellation form but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you return your goods, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. Notwithstanding, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of the contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods beyond that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Returned items will be refunded provided they are received by us in perfect, saleable condition, with all original labels and tags attached.

If you live abroad Europe and you are returning any of our products, make sure to complete your customs return form with the following description “Irish return goods”. Our depot services won’t take parcels charged by customs Duty or import VAT, consequently those items will be send back to you.

Please note we are unable to refund any custom taxes or duties incurred.

We recommend you return items via a recorded delivery service, as The Baby Closet cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged items. Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Please note, these items are normally handmade with very delicate materials and fabrics, so you may find some little variations on it that won’t affect the overall style and look shown on the picture.
